Erik Helverson is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in German studies at Montclair State University in New Jersey. An active student, he serves as the historian of the university’s German Club and is a member of Delta Phi Alpha, the German honor society. Erik Helverson also stands out as a recipient of the Anita Magistro Udell Scholarship and as a previous executive officer for the Sigma Nu fraternity.

In addition to his coursework at Montclair State University, Erik Helverson has taken classes at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania and has studied abroad. He participated in the Temple University Japan Study Abroad Program in 2017, traveling to Tokyo to learn about and experience the history and culture of Japan. He encountered new worldviews that broadened his Western perspective during this time. 

Erik Helverson also draws upon a range of professional experiences. Most recently, he served as a pharmacy technician for Walgreens, a role in which he collaborated with pharmacists and other staff members to provide efficient service to customers. Previously, he worked as a sales associate with Momentum Solar in Metuchen, New Jersey, and as a brand ambassador for Aidells. During his free time, he pursues a diverse range of hobbies that includes tennis, running, and playing the guitar and piano.
